European Operative Programmes
Operative Programmes are the instruments through which the EU achieves its aims. Operational Programs (OP) as a form of Structural Funds comprise a series of consistent, long-term measures that can be implemented using one or more structural funds to one or more financial instruments and the European Investment Bank. OPs were developed following the principle of partnership, providing conditions for effective implementation of the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) (for the period 2014-2020 NSRF would be replaced with Partnership agreement between the EU and the member-state). The structure of operational programmes is organized in Bulgaria with the institutions responsible for national policies in relevant sectors so as to ensure adequate sectoral coordination.
